How do I start to learn to drive?
In order to learn to drive, you need to be 17 years old and have a valid provisional license, you can apply online on the DVSA website.

Most of our instructors do offer lessons in the evening and at weekends, although these are the most popular times and tend to get booked up far in advance.

Can I learn to drive in an automatic car?
Yes we have automatic cars, anyone can learn to drive in an automatic car. It is generally quicker and easier to learn than a manual, but once you have passed your test you can only drive automatic cars.
How long is a theory pass valid?
Your theory test result is valid for two years.
Is it possible to use one of your cars for the practical test if I take lessons with you.
You certainly can use one our cars for your practical test. What normally happens is that you have a short driving lesson just before your practical test and then drive to your test centre. Your driving instructor will generally wait in the centre while you have your test in the car.
Do you offer motorway driving courses to students who passed their driving tests some time ago?

How do I choose the right driving school for me?

How many driving lessons do I need to take before I can get my license?
There is no exact answer to this as the amount changes with every student. The average is around 45 hours however, it changes with every student
Do driving schools provide their own cars for lessons and the driving test?
Yes, we offer both manual and automatic vehicles.
How long is each driving lesson?
Typically they are 1-2 hours depending on your availability.
Is there a recommended age to start driving lessons?
There is no recommended age, some students start driving as soon as they turn 17 and some students begin their lessons later on in life. We teach students who are a variety of different ages.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule a driving lesson
Ideally you would be able to give 24 hours notice, however sometimes this is not possible. In this case get in contact with your instructor at the earliest possible opportunity so that we can try to reschedule your lesson.
Do driving schools offer classes for nervous or anxious drivers?
We don't have specific classes for students who are nervous or anxious however, if you let the instructor know they will tailor the lessons to suit your needs.
